The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (the Authority) intends to file an application to new Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) Application 21-8-C-00-JAN (PFC#8) with the Federal Aviation Administration (the FAA) to accomplish the following:
1. Increase impose and use authority for one project – Project 8.05 Restroom Improvements (Main Terminal);
2. Amend the scope of Project 8.05; and
3. (3) Add a new class of carriers exempt from the requirement to collect PFCs under 14 CFR §158.11.

The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) operates two airports: Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) and Hawkins Field Airport (HKS). JAN is the busiest airport in Mississippi, situated in the Central part of the state and serves the Capital region of Jackson with over 3,000 acres of property.
