JMAA Education & Training Academy (JET-A)
The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority’s Education & Training Academy (JET-A) is an immersive, hands-on aviation camp designed to inspire, educate, and prepare the next generation of aviation professionals. Now in its sixth year, the JET-A program continues to soar—welcoming nearly 60 students in 2025!
Through interactive workshops, flight simulations, airport operations tours, STEM-based projects, and real-world exposure to aviation careers, JET-A equips students with the tools, knowledge, and connections to confidently pursue dynamic futures in aviation. At JMAA, we are proudly investing in future aviators and helping students take flight toward exciting and impactful careers in the skies and beyond.

Last week was truly remarkable as Metro Booming Training Academy sponsored The JMAA Education and Training Academy, also known as JET-A, a program by the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA). JET-A aims to introduce high school students to career prospects in aviation and aerospace industries.
